Amalga has quietly powered our platform behind the scenes since we acquired it from Microsoft in 2008. Built to unify clinical and operational data, it was a product ahead of its time.

Under Orion Health it evolved further, shaped by real-world demands across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Now, as part of McCrae Tech, we’re simply putting its name on the label. It’s not a new product, just a clearer promise: when data flows, care flows. Also - we’re not a hospital!
